A smudge stick is a bundle of dried herbs, most commonly white sage. The leaves are bound with string in a small bundle and dried. The smudge stick creates a strong, pleasant aroma when burnt. Using scent and scented smoke in rites of purification, whether through smudging (the process of using a smudge stick) or burning incense, is common in many traditional cultures around the world.
Burn while walking around a room or house to cleanse its energy. Open windows to allow the old energy to leave. One smudge stick will give you plenty of uses.
The large smudge stick are approximately 20cm in length. Small sticks and sage torches are approximately 6cm.
